Gun Safety Advocacy Event

October 22 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm
Free

📣 Join Us for Community, Action, and Hope

In the wake of the recent shooting at the CDC, the Minnesota school shooting, and the anniversary of the tragedy at Apalachee High School, many of us are feeling outrage, hopelessness, and despair. These feelings are real—and so is the antidote: coming together in community and taking action.

We invite you to gather with us on the evening of Wednesday October 22nd for a postcard-writing event to advocate for common-sense gun laws that keep our communities safer.

We’ll be joined by Heather Hallett, of Georgia Majority for Gun Safety, who will educate and empower us on the state of advocacy efforts in Georgia. Together, we’ll write postcards to our legislators to ensure that our voices are heard, knowing that there is power in numbers.

Bring a pen and a friend, and get ready to advocate!

This is a chance to move from grief and frustration to hope and solidarity—we hope you’ll join us and spread the word. More details to come, but please save the date!
